Sara Gray was born and raised in Vicksburg, MS where she spent 15 years training and studying the Vaganova Method of classical ballet at Vicksburg Dance Company. She was an active choreographer and instructor as well throughout her teen and college years. “Since the age of 15 I have taught movement of some form. I have taught every age group in many different arenas, spaces, and states. Teaching is an integral part of who I am. I love giving others the confidence and knowledge to better themselves.”
Sara was also a part of her competitive dance team throughout her college years at Ole Miss where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Education. Upon graduation she taught kindergarten in Nashville, TN where she was also the choreographer for Overbrook School. After moving to Charlotte in 2004 she taught 3rd grade through CMS for ten years while training and teaching Cardio Dance with the YMCA. She also created and managed the After School Program known as The Rockstar Dance Club for her elementary school.
After having her son in 2009 Sara really wanted to get back to her roots of ballet. “I tried so many workouts, but they all fell short when it came to effectiveness and efficiency. On a friend’s suggestion I decided to try HSM and after that first 60 minutes I knew I had found what I had been looking for!” Liz and Clary have developed the most efficient and innovative workout I have ever experienced! It is all about strengthening small muscle groups to elongate the body and the core-centric method creates a strong, healthy physique. The balletic conditioning combined with the strength training is an amazing fusion that is a total mind/body experience!
All of that along with the genuine support the trainers at Hilliard give to each client motivates and inspires me every day! I am honored to be a part of the amazing team at HSM!!!
