A native of Greensboro, NC, Meghan has always been a fitness enthusiast. “Like so many people, I used to go to the gym and do the same old thing every day: elliptical, weights, stretching… day after day.” The monotony seemed like a requirement, and fitness just wasn’t fun. After moving to New York, Meghan took up pilates-based workouts as a way to stay motivated in a group setting while developing strength and flexibility.
After moving back to North Carolina, this time to Charlotte, Meghan found Hilliard Studio Method and all of the pieces seemed to fit into place. “Once I tried HSM, I realized I had found my new fitness focus. I was anxious to get to my next class to pick up heavier weights, hold my plank longer, or do an extra pushup. HSM is the perfect blend of fun, strength and stamina in a motivating environment. I was immediately hooked.” Meghan quickly became a regular at HSM and realized that, in addition to being a great workout, HSM was a welcoming and fun community. When she had the chance, Meghan jumped at the opportunity to become a Hilliard Studio Method trainer.
When Meghan’s not working out, she can be found at home playing with her two year old son, Charlie, spending time with her husband, Casey, and taking her dog, Cricket, to the park.
